Harley and The Ribs!!

My day was going great, I decided to make my hubby some baby back ribs, salad, bake potatoes and cornbread.
I was so excited that I had some time before he came home, I decided to do some blogging.
There I was having fun checking out some of my fellow bloggers  that  I forgot all about the ribs and Harley being in the house. .
I heard the car pulling and of course I did not want hubby to think this is all I do, so I rushed to the kitchen to get the ribs on the BBQ.

I have a feeling those of you who have large dogs know exactly what I am about to say.YES!! Harley got the ribs.
I managed to rescue two small pieces, needles to say I was a little upset.
My hubby came through the hearing me chasing Harley, I told him what happened and
being the real gentle and great person he is,says that is fine.  I only need a small piece! Honey he said what would you do if you where a dog and saw those delicious ribs sitting there and no one around?
Well looking back I am glad the salad was in the fridge and the freshly baked cornbread was up much higher or HARLEY may of had himself a full course meal.

That night my husband said lets play a trick on Harley, I said ok. We got a piece he had only half eaten tied it to some plastic bottles and utensils and placed them exactly where he got the others.
Harley did not touch it, till the next morning and let me tell you he was so shocked by the noise that he ran like hell and hid under my husband desk. Harley I feel will think twice before grabbing anything off the kitchen counters again.

If you ever have a problem with your pets,  try that trick it works great...
The only bad part about this story is his little sister Gigi was busy in the yard and did not get her share of those beautiful ribs.
